Peter Norris


Peter is one of the World’s leading extreme obstacle and adventure racers., having competed in over 20 events World-wide. Peter won the Obstacle Racing League Amateur title in Australia in 2013. In 2014, Peter finished 14th in the open-age Australian Obstacle racing Titles. He then continued to the Worlds Titles in Cincinnati USA where he recorded an incredible podium finish in 3rd place.

In 2012, Peter qualified for the World’s Toughest Mudder, a 24hr adventure race held in New Jersey, USA. In minus 5 degree temperatures, he competed for 14 hours before getting frostbite on one foot and being eliminated from the race. Despite the injury, Peter still finished in the top 10% of all competitors who travelled from all over the World to compete.

For 2015, Peter has some major events planned. In May, he will travel to China to tackle the Great Wall of China Marathon. On the June long-weekend, he will compete in the long-course Aussie Titles, a 24hr obstacle race held in Sydney. Then in October, Peter will head back to Cincinnati to defend his podium finish at the World Titles. Peter also plans on competing in the Masters Games in New Zealand in the 10 event Decathlon later this year.

As a competitor in the Obstacle Course Racing League of Australia (OCRL), Peter’s training and dedication to these extreme endurance events sees him at the top of the leader board. Peter continues to push the limits of himself and his sport while balancing the commitments of work and family.
